Ruben Dias and John Stones were both missing from the squad for our 4-0 FA Cup victory over Liverpool at the Etihad last Saturday.

Asked about the Portuguese centre-back, the City boss said: “He’s getting better. He’s not ready for Sunday.”
Stones is also taking a step closer to returning to first team action and didn’t rule him out of being involved in the squad that will travel down to face Chelsea as we aim to close the gap at the top of the Premier League.
“Today maybe he will do partial training, we’ll see,” Guardiola said.
He also confirmed that Gvardiol will take longer to be ready after suffering such a serious injury.
“He’s getting better but still he isn’t close,” Guardiola added.
Croatia team-mate Mateo Kovacic has also had a season impacted by injury after suffering an ankle blow.
Missing for much of the season, he has been on the bench for recent games and the boss confirmed he is ready to be involved in the final weeks of the campaign.
“He’s fine,” Guardiola said when asked for an update on the midfielder.
