The German midfielder scored twice as City eased to victory, but appeared to be in discomfort when he was substituted in the 69th minute.

Guardiola says it is too early to know whether it was a serious injury or not and will have to wait until Sunday to find out the extent of Gundogan’s problem.
“We will see tomorrow,” said the City boss at his post-match press conference.
“He told me it was tight. He is intelligent to say it, but we will see tomorrow.”
Gundogan’s brace continued his brilliant goalscoring form that has seen him hit the back of the net 11 times in his last 12 matches.
The 30-year-old has previously been deployed in a deeper midfield role but has excelled in a more advanced position and Guardiola has backed him to maintain his level of performance as he praised his instincts in the final third.
“He plays close to the striker and has incredible sense,” added the City boss. “He has this quality.
“I said many times he can play as a false nine and the people laugh at me. Today it was a clear action to win the penalty and then the two goals. He is so good in those terms.
“I am delighted for his performance. He won the player of the month award for January and he still keeps playing this way. In February he could win it again.”
Sergio Aguero was a welcome sight amongst the City substitutes against Spurs as he made his return after an 11-game absence due to COVID-19
However, the Argentine did not see any playing time against Jose Mourinho’s men and Guardiola admitted he will be patient with the Club’s record goalscorer.
“He is OK,” said the Spaniard. “Yesterday he had a tough training situation.
“We have to take things step by step. As soon as he gets a bit of physical condition and he has the chance to play, he will play.”
