Guardiola is on the shortlist alongside Mikel Arteta (Arsenal), Roberto De Zerbi (Brighton), Unai Emery (Aston Villa), Eddie Howe (Newcastle United) and Marco Silva (Fulham).
Guardiola has, to date, ensured 27 wins in 35 games with a +61 goal difference to leave us top of the table by four points, with a game in hand over the second place Gunners.
The boss is in the running to become only the second manager in Premier League history, after Sir Alex Ferguson, to win as many as four Barclays Manager of the Season awards.
He won his previous honours in 2017/18, 2018/19 and 2020/21.
City are also set to compete in two major finals – the FA Cup on 3 June and the Champions League on 10 June against Manchester United and Inter respectively.
