We go to Elland Road at 17:30 (UK) on Saturday looking to move just two points behind Premier League leaders Arsenal.
The Blues have been in fine form recently, going eight games unbeaten across all competitions.
That has largely been without Belgian international Doku, who has been absent since the Champions League victory over Galatasaray in late January due to a calf injury.
Guardiola says the No.11 is on the road to recovery but is unsure whether he will play a part at Leeds.
“Yesterday he made the first training,” he said when asked about Doku’s fitness.
Pressed for clarification on the winger’s involvement tomorrow, he replied: “I don’t know, we’ll talk with the doctors and officials afterwards.”
Several players in City’s squad are observing the religious period of Ramadan, which sees people of the Muslim faith fast during daylight hours.
Guardiola says the Club have made all adjustments to ensure they can follow their beliefs while still performing at the top of their game.
“They follow this religious tradition and we have good nutritionists who adapt for what the team needs,” he began.
“I think they’re used to it, they’re not young and used to playing in this period.
“It’s not their first time and we know how to handle it.
“They’re in touch with the doctors and will adapt but they know what to do.”
