He has previously earned the honour 11 times - making him the third most successful boss in the award’s history.

His latest nomination comes after leading City to two wins from two in January alongside two FA Cup victories.

Our first Premier League success in the month came on the road at Newcastle United, when substitutes Kevin De Bruyne and Oscar Bobb inspired a dramatic comeback.

The Pep Effect

We closed the month out with a 3-1 home defeat of Vincent Kompany’s Burnley to make it eight wins in a row across all competitions and move us two points off the top of the table with a game in hand.

This announcement comes shortly after Kevin De Bruyne was revealed as one of six players up for the Player of the Month award.

The winner will be announced on Friday 16 February.
