Pep Guardiola has been named Premier League Manager of the Month after steering City to a 100% record across November.

The Catalan guided the Club to a dominant Manchester derby victory at Old Trafford, as well as a convincing 3-0 win over Everton and a hard-fought 2-1 win at home to West Ham United.

City scored seven goals in three November Premier League matches, surrendering just five shots on target, conceding only once and also boasting an astonishing average of 71% possession across the month.

We also closed the gap on league leaders Chelsea to just a single point by the end of November, with further wins at Aston Villa and Watford in early December guiding us to the Premier League summit for the first time this season.

Our three successive victories formed part of a five-match winning sequence across the month, with City also beating Club Brugge and Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.

Guardiola has now won Manager of the Month an impressive ten times, with this his first since February 2021.

Only Arsene Wenger and Sir Alex Ferguson have claimed the award on more occasions than the City boss, who moves ahead of Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp and alongside West Ham manager David Moyes in the overall standings after his latest achievement.

Everyone at Manchester City would like to congratulate Pep on his most recent accomplishment.
