Pep Guardiola has won consecutive Premier League Manager of the Month awards after Manchester City’s 100% record earned him the February prize.

The Catalan picked up January’s award after a perfect six game streak and repeated the trick last month when he again led City to six victories in as many matches.

Burnley, Everton, Arsenal and West Ham United were all beaten, though the highlight of this brilliant run came when Guardiola masterminded convincing back-to-back victories over Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.

A rock-solid defence remained the cornerstone of City’s success as we conceded just two goals, hitting the back of the net 15 times to end the month 12-points clear of second placed Manchester United.

Alongside this, City progressed to the FA Cup quarter-finals with a comfortable win over Swansea City before an utterly dominant display against Borussia Monchengladbach saw us take a 2-0 lead after the first leg of our Champions League last 16 tie.

Guardiola beat Nuno Espirito Santo (Wolves), Scott Parker (Fulham) and Thomas Tuchel (Chelsea) in February’s vote.

Everyone at Manchester City congratulates Pep and his backroom staff on a second perfect month and another well-deserved award.
