The 26-year-old has agreed a new contract, keeping him at his boyhood club until 2030.
Having initially joined our Academy at the age of nine, Foden came all the way through our youth ranks to become a key member of Pep Guardiola’s history-making squad.
He’s won it all in a City shirt, becoming one of the most decorated players in our history.
That medal haul of 20 major honours includes six Premier League titles, with only five players ever lifting the famous trophy more than him.
The midfielder has also played his part in five League Cups, three FA Cups, three Community Shields, a Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and a FIFA Club World Cup.
As well as his energetic midfield play, he’s a regular contributor in the final third and earlier this month became just the sixth player to 100 Premier League goal contributions for City.
He’s also one of only 20 men to score at least 100 times for City.
No doubt, the No.47 is already a City legend.
