Foden blasted past 50 Premier League goals for City in the 4-0 victory over Brighton, with his 16 efforts this season a new career high in the top-flight.
The 23-year-old stressed that the influence of KDB, who also scored against the Seagulls, cannot be underestimated in the battle for a record-breaking fourth successive title.
“Playing with the best players in the world like Kev definitely helps my game,” said the Player of the Match.
“When he’s at it he’s the best player in the Premier League. To be playing with him in midfield it helps my game.
“He sees passes other players don’t. Sometimes you just have to run into the space and he’s going to find you.
“It’s nice I’m playing inside with him now and hopefully I can keep playing with him because it’s good for the team.
“We just want to win game by game to get to the title.”
The final score may have suggested it was light work for City but Foden said it was anything but as Pep Guardiola’s men had to turn on the style to ensure a maximum haul.
“They’re a very challenging team,” he said of Brighton.
“They like to go man to man, they play beautiful football.
“But I thought with Kev’s first goal and a bit of luck with my goal, it settled us a little bit.
“We grew into the game and found where the space was.
“I thought in the first half we were frightening with the way we attacked.”
