Fresh from our emphatic 5-0 triumph over Norwich, there was a typical spring in the step of Pep Guardiola’s men as we ramped up preparations for our clash with the Gunners in Saturday’s early kick-off.
Accompanying those high spirits was the usual intensity throughout the session, as City aim to build on our first victory of the new Premier League season and sign off for the international break with another three points.
Although Mikel Arteta’s men have started the season slowly, our opponents this weekend are not to be taken lightly and that fact hasn’t been lost on the players, who gave their all throughout the session.
Nonetheless, there were plenty of smiles at a sunny CFA, including on the faces of Pep Guardiola and Rodrigo when they caught up with fellow Spaniard Vicky Losada, who stopped by on the way back from a session with her new teammates ahead of the Women’s Super League campaign.
