Training: Tuesday tune-up ahead of Sporting visit

City’s first team squad stepped up preparations for the second leg of our Champions League last-16 tie with Sporting during Tuesday's training session.

Pep Guardiola’s men took part in an afternoon session at the CFA ahead of Wednesday night’s assignment with our visitors from Portugal.

City will kick-off holding a 5-0 advantage from last month’s first leg in Lisbon.

And speaking at his pre-match press conference ahead of Tuesday’s session, manager Pep Guardiola confirmed that Joao Cancelo (illness), Nathan Ake (injury) and the suspended Kyle Walker were all unavailable.

Ruben Dias and Cole Palmer also remain side-lined.
