Foden has already won a host of awards for the best personal season of his career, including Premier League Player of the Season, FWA Footballer of the Year and Etihad Player of the Season.

The 23-year-old Academy graduate scored 27 goals in 53 appearances across all competitions as he took centre stage for Pep Guardiola‘s team.

That included 19 strikes in the league, which could only be bettered by three players.

One of those was Golden Boot winner Haaland, who struck 27 times in 31 games in the Premier League.

It was the second time in two seasons the Norwegian has outscored everyone else in the division after a record breaking haul of 36 in 2022/23.

Our No.9 was also nominated for the Premier League Player of the Season award and came second in the Ballon d’Or voting during the campaign.

Rodrigo was a surprise omission from the list of nominees for the Player of the Season award, with the Spaniard again at the heart of the best things about the champions.

He played 34 league games and remained unbeaten. His run of 50 games without defeat in the competition has only ever been bettered by Sol Campbell (56) in the Premier League era.

The midfielder also topped the passing stats in the division, completing a whopping 3,633 at an average of 107 per game.

Kevin De Bruyne makes the XI despite missing almost five months of action through injury.

His dramatic return to the Premier League came in the 3-2 win at Newcastle United in January, when he scored and later assisted Oscar Bobb to complete a turnaround and seal the three points.

That was the first of 10 assists in the Premier League, leaving him third in the playmaker rankings despite making just 18 appearances.

He also chipped in with three further goals including two beauties against Crystal Palace to become just the 18th man to reach 100 goals for City.
