Rayan Cherki is the Etihad Player of the Month for December.

The gifted French playmaker was at his bewitching and beguiling best across a month that saw City win all seven games in all competitions.

Cherki it was whose dramatic late strike secured a priceless 2-1 victory away at Nottingham Forest in what was our final match of the 2025 calendar year.

The 22-year-old also served up a magnificent player of the match display in an impressive 3-0 home win over Sunderland in what served as his finest performance yet since joining City from Lyon last summer.

His spellbinding performance that day was capped by a quite stunning rabona cross that picked out Phil Foden who headed home our third goal.

Cherki was also on target in our 2-0 Carabao Cup quarter final win at home to Brentford, the midfielder opening the scoring with a quite stunning first half strike which set the seal on another standout all-round display

Our number 10 saw off the challenge of Phil Foden and Erling Haaland to claim the December award.

Congratulations to Rayan and many thanks to everyone who voted.
