Riyad Mahrez’s first goal against Burnley has been nominated for the Premier League Goal of the Month – and your vote could help him win it.

Mahrez went on to complete a first City hat-trick against the Clarets in a 5-0 win at the Etihad.

The nominated goal was started by Rodrigo winning possession, finding Ferran Torres who passed to Kevin De Bruyne and it was his threaded ball that found Mahrez who slotted a low shot into the bottom left-hand corner of the net.

Mahrez is up against a number of other fine goals scored during November.

They include: Raphinha for Leeds United against Everton; James Ward-Prowse and Danny Ings of Southampton for their goals against Aston Villa; Solly March for his strike against Villa; Jamie Vardy’s goal against Leeds United; Eberechi Eze for his effort against Leeds and Ola Aina’s strike against Everton.
