Mahrez joined us in July 2018 and has won three Premier League titles, three League Cups and an FA Cup.
He’s eager for even more success and this season we are still pushing hard on three fronts, including the Champions League, a trophy he’s eager to lift in the sky blue shirt.
Talking as part of a new City Studios documentary, The Riyad Mahrez Story, Mahrez believes he’s at the perfect place to earn more honours in this campaign and into the future.
He said: “We are a team which is built, which has been built for these special moments.
“We have players that can make the difference when needed.
“And yes, I am part of it. But it is thanks to the team and I think that we aren’t done yet.

“Especially with this team, the coach and this game.
“We have to continue winning trophies and win this Champions League that everyone wants.”
Mahrez admits he’s had an ‘uncommon journey’ in football.
As chronicled in The Riyad Mahrez Story documentary on CITY+ and Recast, Mahrez wasn’t an academy graduate – he made his way up French football through humble beginnings at AAS Sarcelles before a trial at St Mirren, a move to first club Quimper, climbing the French leagues to Le Havre before being scouted by Leicester City.
The winger may have achieved plenty already during his time in the game but he’s eager for more.
He added: “It is an uncommon journey, a different one.
“But one which brings you to the top of your profession.
“But it is still going on. I have to continue. It isn’t just the end of it. I have to continue and thank god.”
