City were on top for much of the stalemate against the Gunners but, despite persevering until the final whistle, we were unable to find a route to goal.
The result leaves City third in the Premier League with nine games to go, just one point behind Arsenal and three back from leaders Liverpool.
There’s little chance to take stock however, with fourth-placed Aston Villa visiting the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday night.

While Dias acknowledges the frustration everyone connected with the Club will have felt on Sunday, he wants to see us use it positively.
“We definitely controlled the game,” he said.
“It’s obviously frustrating not to win a game like that because of how important it is from now forward but we have to take that frustration and use it in the right way.
“We can look at the table and realise how close we are and maintain this level. There are still enough games to play and a lot can happen.
“We’re still in three competitions but we have to focus on every game. If we lose in any of those competitions then things get difficult.
“I guess we all like to live with that pressure and fine margins, we simply have to take it to the right side as we’ve done it in the past.”
Unai Emery’s Villa currently have 59 points from 30 matches and are on course for their best league finish since 1995/96.
We suffered a 1-0 loss at Villa Park in the reverse fixture, which Pep Guardiola regularly references as one of the best performances against any of his City sides since arriving in 2016.
Dias is under no illusions just how difficult a proposition this Wednesday’s visitors are.
“We can see how good they’ve been just by looking at the table,” he stated.
“We know it’s going to be a really tough game and we’ll need to be at our best if we want to overcome it.
“They’re playing really well so we’re prepared for a demanding game.”
City were without John Stones and Kyle Walker against Arsenal while Nathan Ake had to be brought off early on due to injury.
Ederson was also again not included in the matchday squad after suffering an injury at Liverpool in early March.
While Dias agrees it’s not ideal to be missing experienced players, he insists it’s not going to influence the mood in the camp.
“At this time of the season, the more players you have available the better. It’s the time to have everyone fit to fight together,” he said.
“We don’t have everyone available but we have to deal with it and think positively and keep on fighting.”

During the show, we see Dias, amongst others, address his team-mates before crucial matches.
The Portuguese defender says that is crucial to keep the team going during a gruelling campaign.
“I’m going to watch it as soon as I can, I’m way too curious!” he starts, when asked about Together.
“Things can happen naturally. We’ve got many leaders in our dressing room. Whenever the time is right and when someone feels it, that’s the time to do it. As much as we can keep that spirit, we have to because it’s important for the team.”
