City have a rich history of recruiting players from South America.

The current first team squad boasts the Club’s all-time leading scorer Argentinian Sergio Aguero, along with Brazilian trio Ederson, Gabriel Jesus and skipper Fernandinho.

“The amazing thing, particularly in Brazil, is the amount of players. It’s like a conveyor belt – it really is incredible,” Senior Scouting and Recruitment Manager James Smith told City+ during Episode One.

Scout is a four-part documentary, which focuses on City’s work in South America, Europe, the United States and the Rest of the World.
