City won four of the six games we played in September, scoring 14 goals and conceding six.
Victories over Leicester, RB Leipzig, Wycombe and Chelsea, plus a draw with Southampton and an unfortunate loss against PSG saw a number of excellent performances.
With that in mind, here are the September nominees...
Bernardo
Our brilliant Portuguese midfielder was outstanding in September.
His displays away to Leicester - where he scored the only goal of the game - and against Chelsea, were superb.
A mixture of skill, intelligence and industry, Bernardo is a strong contender for the September prize.
RODRIGO
Rodrigo is undoubtedly maturing into one of the Premier League’s best holding midfielders and September again demonstrated his growing influence in the side.
Understated and effective, Rodrigo has enjoyed an excellent September.
JOAO CANCELO
Joao Cancelo is rapidly becoming one of the best and most versatile full-backs in world football.
A right-back by trade, he has flourished at left-back this season and in September, was outstanding - particularly in the wins over Chelsea and RB Leipzig - scoring a stunning goal in the latter.
It was also his shot from 20 yards that eventually resulted in Gabriel Jesus‘ winner at Stamford Bridge.
Three strong candidates - now vote for your favourite below!
