As Sergio Aguero celebrates his birthday, we are marking the occasion here on mancity.com with some of the best photos taken of the man himself this season.
Before football was suspended, it had been a typically free scoring campaign for our Argentine ace.
He scored 23 goals in 30 games in all competitions and, with 16 of those coming in the league, he was once again in the hunt for the Premier League golden boot.
Aguero has added a further two medals to his collection – the 2019 Community Shield and the 2020 Carabao Cup – but his most noticeable act this season came against Aston Villa on 12 January, when he scored a hat-trick in a 6-1 win.
It was the 12th time he had hit a treble in the Premier League – a record – which saw him become the highest scoring overseas player in the competition’s history.
