Sven Goran-Eriksson may have only managed Manchester City for a season but the impact and memories of the Swede’s year at the helm will never be forgotten.

The former England boss has sadly passed away at the age of 76 leaving the world of football mourning a man revered across the globe.

Appointed as City boss in the summer of 2007, the former England manager was to spend the 2007/08 season in charge at the Etihad.

He went on to oversee a memorable campaign that featured an influx of exciting overseas talent and one that was packed full of thrilling football and memorable moments.

Not least unforgettable derby wins against Manchester United both home and away.
