Kyle Walker and Benjamin Mendy will give City plenty of power and pace down the flanks from their full-back positions.

Eric Garcia links up with Aymeric Laporte in central defence to complete the back four, with Rodrigo shielding the defence.

Ilkay Gundogan and Bernardo will provide the attacking thrust of midfield, with Ferran Torres likely to start on the right wing and Raheem Sterling on the left.

As always, the above positions are fluid and likely to evolve as the game progresses.

City look to avoid Cheltenham scare?

Our fourth round win at Cheltenham Town seemed to be heading for a different conclusion until Joao Cancelo was introduced.

Trailing 1-0, City just didn’t look like scoring up to that point, but finally broke the League 2 side’s resistance with three late goals.

Swansea are a good footballing side who are second in the Championship and on a terrific run of form.

They will want to keep their momentum going and will look to cause City as much trouble as they did two years ago at the Sixth Round stage.

That day, City trailed 2-0 with 69 minutes played before Bernardo and a Sergio Aguero brace gave Pep Guardiola’s men a 3-2 win.

Getting our noses in front could be vital in this tie, with the Swans likely to fly if they gain the advantage.
