He says that there have been no targets set, but he knows what is needed for City to emulate the success of recent years and kick on again.
“Khaldoon never asked me anything,” said Pep.
“We want to continue what we have started and we believe we can do it, he knows how difficult things are in the world especially now and we are not the exception.”

In his Friday press briefing, the City boss admitted he doesn’t know what will happen in the coming months and years, but that he will be giving his all to try and keep the trophies coming.
“I didn’t expect seven years here,” he said. “I don’t know what will happen, it is down to the results.
“I am here because we had incredible success and we continue to try to do it.”
The Catalan was also asked whether City could be his last job in club football and whether maintaining his levels of passion and intensity was possible over a sustained period.
“For sure, one day it is going to happen, but still I enjoy doing this job,” he said.
“What happens in two years I cannot answer now.
“What happened 10 or 15 days ago, I don’t know. What happens in two years? No manager can say, but maybe it is down to results.
“Drop a little bit of performance and titles and maybe the situation will be difficult.
“A lot can happen in two three months so imagine two years?”
