There were plenty of smiling faces in training today as we geared up for the trip to Crystal Palace.
And no surprise given the midweek victory over Nottingham Forest, which ended a seven-game winless run for Pep Guardiola’s Blues.
Goals from Bernado Silva, Kevin De Bruyne and Jeremy Doku gave us a deserved and welcome three-point haul and moved us up into fourth in the Premier League table.
The manager will now want us to build on that as we take on Oliver Glasner’s Eagles in a Saturday 15:00 (UK) kick-off.
He will be without Nathan Ake and Phil Foden, unfortunately, which added to John Stones, Oscar Bobb, Rodri and Mateo Kovacic makes an extensive injury list.
But given the mood at the CFA this afternoon, the players he does have available will be determined to pick up another positive result tomorrow.
