Should City avoid defeat, Guardiola will reach 500 points in the competition and the Catalan kept a watchful eye on his players as they were put through their paces on the training ground.
Nathan Ake, who missed last weekend’s game against Chelsea, joined in the session and Guardiola confirmed the Dutchman is ready to return at his pre-match press conference.
