Gallery: Recovery ahead of another busy week

City's substitutes and squad members not involved in Saturday's draw with Liverpool put in a shift at the CFA earlier today.

Erling Haaland‘s 50th Premier League goal looked like it might earn us the three points before a Trent Alexander-Arnold equaliser deep into the second half meant the points were shared.

That leaves City second in the Premier League after Arsenal’s win over Brentford later in the day.

Now attention turns to the Champions League with RB Leipzig the visitors to the Etihad on Tuesday night. We know that victory in that one will seal top spot in Group G with a game to spare.

After that the games come thick and fast with matches against Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa.

In order to be ready for those challenges, our players who didn’t make the pitch on Saturday convened for a session this morning.
