Training: City gear up for Liverpool

City were back hard at work at the CFA on Saturday as Pep Guardiola’s squad honed final preparations for our return to Premier League action at home to Liverpool.

The Blues play host to the Anfield visitors at the Etihad on Sunday, 23 February 23 with kick-off slated for 16.30pm (UK).

It has become one of the English game’s most eagerly anticipated match-ups in recent seasons and this latest affair promises to be no different.

Leaders Liverpool will be looking to try and strengthen their grip at the top, while fourth-placed City know a positive result will further boost our hopes of securing Champions League football next term.

Against a glorious sky blue backdrop, the players went about their work ahead of what should be a classic match-up.
