It was another sunny, warm day in Manchester as Enzo Maresca and his players gathered to close out the first week of pre-season training.
The morning workout was the final act of Maresca’s opening week in the position, having taken over from Pep Guardiola this summer following the Catalan’s historic 10-year spell.

The Italian will next week lead us on a tour of Hong Kong and Seoul, where we will face Inter, K League All Stars and Atletico Madrid before coming back to the UK for the start of the domestic campaign.
With several players still on holiday following their World Cup exploits, it’s been a younger squad in training throughout the week but Maresca made it clear in Friday’s very first press conference that he’s enjoyed what he’s seen.
