Pep Guardiola and his players were back at the City Football Academy on Thursday morning with recovery and preparation for our final Premier League game of the season already in full flow.

A 1-1 draw at Brighton & Hove Albion extended our top-flight unbeaten run to 15 games. Phil Foden gave us the lead after 25 minutes, with Julio Enciso’s long-ranged goal 13 minutes later meant the spoils were shared.

And with our final midweek game finished, our attention turns quickly to the final Premier League game of the season, a trip to the Gtech Community Stadium to take on Brentford.

Brighton v City | Extended Highlights

Even after the Premier League trophy lift at the Etihad after our final home game of the season against Chelsea, the team’s focus and energy levels are still high with two more finals on the horizon.

Not only are Guardiola’s team preparing for the trip to Brentford, but also the FA Cup final against Manchester United and the Champions League final against Inter Milan.

In order to be ready for three crucial games, the players were busy with recovery and working hard on pitches at the CFA.
