City continued preparations for our weekend trip to Crystal Palace in the Premier League – as we made the most of having no midweek fixture for the first time in three weeks.
Across February and into the first weekend of March, Pep Guardiola’s side have played eight times in 33-days as the UEFA Champions League and FA Cup returned to our schedule alongside league commitments.
The trip to Selhurst Park kicks-off a three-game run before the international break on 25 March, which the boss believes will be key to the outcomes of the season.
Following the meeting with Patrick Vieira’s side on Saturday 11 March (17:30 UK), we host RB Leipzig in our Champions League second leg last-16 fixture on Tuesday 14 March with the tie finely poised at 1-1.
Then to round off a busy period, we welcome City legend, Vincent Kompany’s Burnley to the Etihad Stadium in the FA Cup quarter final on Saturday 18 March.
As we approach the business end of the season, the hard work continued at the CFA ahead of our visit to the capital.
