Pep Guardiola and the City players were back at work as thoughts turned to the weekend trip to Crystal Palace.
The City boss says the next three matches before the international break later this month, will be crucial to the season.
That trio of fixtures begins with a difficult trip to face Patrick Vieira’s exciting Palace side in the Premier League.
Then comes the Champions League second leg with RB Leipzig with the tie finely balanced following the 1-1 draw in Germany.
Our final match before the break is the FA Cup sixth round visit of Burnley and a welcome return for City legend Vincent Kompany.
