Training: City’s first US Tour session!

The best images from City’s first training session of our USA Tour…

Pep Guardiola’s men touched down in North Carolina on Friday evening ahead of our first pre-season clash with Celtic.

City lock horns with Brendan Rodgers’ side at 19:30 (EDT) on Tuesday 23 July, with the match also available to follow live on CITY+.

The clash pits the English champions against our Scottish equivalents, with an exciting showdown at Chapel Hill’s Kenan Stadium expected.

Ahead of the encounter, our players were hard at work at the WakeMed Soccer Park.

Guardiola has selected a rich blend of established international stars and exciting young talent, and they all took part in some possession-based drills in the North Carolina heat.

It was clear to see that every member of the squad is incredibly excited for the season to start, with sights set on a positive result against Celtic.
