There was a spring in City’s collective step on Friday as we stepped up preparations ahead of Saturday’s return to Premier League action.
Southampton are the visitors to the Etihad Stadium this weekend with City seeking to round off what has been an excellent week so far.
After securing a 1-0 win at Leicester last Saturday, Pep Guardiola‘s side then overcame RB Leipzig 6-3 in midweek to get our UEFA Champions League group campaign off to a flying start.

Now the focus switches back to the defence of our Premier League crown and the visit of Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side.
