There was obvious disappointment for everyone of blue persuasion after City were knocked out of the Champions League by Real Madrid last night.

Pep Guardiola’s men exited after a penalty shoot-out defeat to Los Blancos, after the tie over two legs finished 4-4.

But there’s little time to dwell on the defeat, with so much still to play for across 2023/24 in the Premier League and FA Cup.

We have six games remaining in the top-flight as we eye four titles in a row - something never achieved before in English football.

But next up is the FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea on Wembley, as we take on Mauricio Pochettino’s side on Saturday, kick-off 17:15 (UK).

City’s players were back at the CFA today to recuperate after a mammoth 120 minutes of action at the Etihad in the UCL.

As well as time recovering from the exertions of the monumental clash, work also started as we build up to the weekend encounter in the world’s oldest national football competition.

We’re looking to make it through to the showpiece for the second consecutive season, having beaten Manchester United in the final last time out.
