Kevin De Bruyne has been named the UEFA Champions League Player of the Week.
De Bruyne put in a star performance in the 1-1 draw with Real Madrid in the Bernabeu.
The Belgian captain scored the goal in the semi-final first leg to level matters and ensure we head to the Etihad on Wednesday on equal terms.
Not only was his display recognised with a UEFA Player of the Match award on the night, he’s now collected the UEFA Player of the Week award.
It takes into account all performances from both ties – Madrid v City and AC v Inter Milan.
Kevin beat off competition from three other players who shone in the semi-finals – Real Madrid’s Vinícius Júnior, Henrikh Mkhitaryan of Inter Milan and Nicolò Barella, also of Inter.
