All the details you need ahead of the upcoming UEFA Champions League draw involving Manchester City.

Pep Guardiola‘s side reached the quarter-final of the competition for the sixth consecutive season with a 8-1 aggregate victory over RB Leipzig in the Round of 16.

Erling Haaland‘s unbelievable five-goal haul - only the third time that has been achieved in this competition’s history - earned us an emphatic second leg victory at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday after Riyad Mahrez‘s goal in Germany last month.

When and where is the draw?

The draw is scheduled to take place at 11:00 (UK) on Friday 17 March at UEFA’s headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.

We will have a special live show on mancity.com with guests discussing City’s campaign so far and then after all is revealed, their take on our opponents.

Draw format

With both the quarter-final and potential last four ties to be confirmed, we will know our potential route to the Champions League final by Friday.

From this stage in the competition, teams from the same country can now face each other, meaning Pep Guardiola‘s men could face Premier League opposition in the next round.

There will also be no seedings, meaning home and away legs will be determined by the order in which teams are drawn.

Each quarter-final tie will be assigned a number between one and four . Those new balls will determine the semi-final ties meaning we will know our potential route to the final on Friday.

The third draw will determine the ‘home’ side at the final at Istanbul’s Atatürk Olympic Stadium.

When will the ties be played?

The first legs of the quarter-final take place on Tuesday 11 and Wednesday 12 April, with the returns scheduled for 18 and 19 April.

The semi-finals will be on 9/10 and 16/17 May with the final on Saturday 10 June.
