City are one the top eight sides to move straight into the Round of 16, with sides ninth to 24th set competing in a play-off round.
The play-off matches were drawn on Friday, 30 January leaving us with the possibility of facing four sides in the last 16.
Pep Guardiola’s side face the winners of either Benfica v Real Madrid or Bodo/Glimt v Inter in the Round of 16.
The play-off stages are set to take place on February 17 or 18 with the second leg the following week.
We’ll confirm our opponents on Friday 27 February in a draw to be made after the play-off round is completed.
That draw will also map out our potential route to the final in Budapest on 30 May 2026.
The Round of 16 will be played across two legs on the 10/11 and 17/18 March 2026, with City set to play at home in the second leg by virtue of finishing in the top eight of the league phase.
We picked up our 16 points in the league phase with wins over Napoli, Villarreal, Borussia Dortmund, Real Madrid and Galatasaray and a draw at Monaco.
City are seeking a second Champions League trophy having won it in 2022/23.
