Learn who the Scout thinks will influence Fantasy Premier League proceedings when City visit West Ham.

Our first assignment following the international break sees Pep Guardiola’s side travel to the London Stadium on Saturday 16 September with kick-off scheduled for 15:00 (UK).

We’ll be aiming to extend our 100% start to the league season in the capital after recording four straight wins since the curtain raised on the 2023/24 campaign.

WEST HAM V CITY: MATCH PREVIEW

In our previous outing before the pause in domestic action, City earned a strong 5-1 win over Fulham at the Etihad Stadium thanks to an Erling Haaland hat-trick and further goals from Julian Alvarez and Nathan Ake.

But against a Hammers side who are yet to taste defeat so far this campaign, three points are far from guaranteed in east London.

Last time out, David Moyes’ team recorded their third successive victory with a fine 2-1 win against Luton at Kenilworth Road with Jarod Bowen and Kurt Zouma on the scoresheet.

However, the last time Guardiola’s men locked horns with West Ham goals from Ake, Haaland and Phil Foden earned us a 3-0 home success in May.

CITY STAR

Phil Foden (£7.6m) will be hoping history repeats itself when City travel to West Ham United in Gameweek 5 of Fantasy Premier League.

The midfielder scored in his previous meeting with the Hammers in Gameweek 34 last season.

Foden has started three of our four fixtures this season.

And he’s been a standout creator in that spell, returning an assist in three successive Gameweeks against Newcastle United, Sheffield United and Fulham.

Indeed, his 12 key passes rank joint-top with Julian Alvarez (£6.7m) among team-mates.

Despite failing to score, Foden has also boasted a reasonable goal threat.

His total of seven shots has been bettered by only three other City players.

ONE TO WATCH

Jarrod Bowen (£7.1m) is the host’s in-form player.

The midfielder has registered three goals and an assist in the opening four matches.

DIFFERENTIALS

Elsewhere, Tottenham Hotspur’s Son Heung-Min (£9.1m) and Arsenal’s Gabriel Jesus (£7.9m) are low-owned assets.

Son, who is listed as a midfielder in Fantasy, hosts Sheffield Utd on the back of a hat-trick while playing as a forward in Gameweek 4.

Jesus visits Everton having scored and collected two bonus points on his return from injury last time out.
