Pep Guardiola’s side visit the London Stadium on Saturday 14 March, with kick-off scheduled for 20:00 (UK).
We enter the fixture looking to bounce back from our defeat to Real Madrid in the first leg of our last-16 Champions League tie.
The Hammers, meanwhile, sealed their place in the FA Cup quarter-finals in their previous assignment – beating Brentford on penalties.
In December’s reverse fixture at the Etihad Stadium, an Erling Haaland brace and Tijjani Reijnder’s strike helped us to a 3-0 win over the Irons.
But we’ll have to be at our best this weekend against a West Ham team who are harbouring ambitions of preserving their top-flight status before the season’s end.
FPL managers will certainly be keeping an eye on proceedings in the capital this weekend as they look to boost their points returns this weekend.
Ahead of another round of seismic Premier League fixtures, read the latest Scout report below ahead of Saturday 14 March’s 13:30 (UK) deadline.
CITY STAR
Matheus Nunes (£5.4m) looks like a great pick for Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers ahead of the Blues’ Gameweek 30 match against West Ham.
The Portugal international has registered 17 returns this season, of which eight have been attacking ones – but he’s unlucky not to be on 18 returns as he was withdrawn on 59 minutes against Fulham in Gameweek 26 meaning he missed out on the clean sheet.
Nunes has also registered eight defensive contribution points, 16 bonus points and five double digit returns so far. Meanwhile his 126 points is only bettered by Erling Haaland (£14.6m), Antoine Semenyo (£8.3m) and Marc Guehi (£5.2m) across the City team.
ONE TO WATCH
Crysencio Summerville (£5.7m) is in good form for West Ham. The midfielder registered 11-points in GW29 from a goal, a clean sheet and three bonus.
DIFFERENTIALS
Elsewhere, James Hill (£4.2m) and Dango Ouattara (£6.0m) remain low-owned gems who have good potential in Gameweek 30.
