Manchester City have reached the Carabao Cup semi-finals for the fourth year in a row after being Arsenal 4-1 in the last eight.

Pep Guardiola’s side are chasing a fourth consecutive League Cup triumph, with Liverpool the only side to have achieved such a feat, having lifted the trophy every year between 1981 and 1984.

City joined Championship outfit Brentford in the last four, with the winners of Stoke City v Tottenham Hotspur and Everton v Manchester United to complete the semi-final line-up.

When is the Carabao Cup semi-final draw?

The draw will take place after Everton take on United in the last of the four quarter-final ties on Wednesday 23 December.

Kick-off is at 20:00 (UK) and providing the game doesn’t go to extra-time, the draw should begin around 21:45.

You can watch the draw live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football.

Presenter Laura Woods will be hosting proceedings, with former England striker Darren Bent the man responsible for drawing the teams.

When is the semi-final?

In a change from the norm, this year’s semi-finals will be played over one leg rather than two.

The games are scheduled to take place in the week commencing Monday 4 January.
