The draw for the Third Round of the Carabao Cup takes place on Wednesday, 30 August as City begin our quest to win the trophy for a record-equalling ninth time.

Currently the only major domestic trophy not in possession of Pep Guardiola’s Treble winners, the Blues will be keen to challenge strongly to win the competition once again, having surprisingly been knocked out at the quarter-final stage by Southampton last season.

The third round sees the clubs that are in European action entering the competition.
