Check out our match gallery as City earned victory courtesy of a last-gasp John Stones winner at Wolves.

It didn’t start well for the Blues at Molineux with the hosts opening the scoring on seven minutes through Jorgen Strand Larsen as the striker met a delicious ball into the box from Nelson Semedo.

Gary O’Neil’s men could have doubled their advantage moments later but Ederson did brilliantly to dive at the feet of an onrushing Semedo who was through on goal.

City had our chances, Jose Sar doing very well to keep out a clinical Bernardo Silva effort in the box but Pep Guardiola’s champions eventually levelled matters as the first half developed.

CITY SET UNBEATEN RECORD

And what an equaliser it was – Josko Gvardiol blasting home a stunning shot from 20 yards out.

England ace Stones was the hero with a late, late goal on 90 + 5. It was disallowed originally but when VAR asked the referee to have a look thankfully for the sky blue faithful, Chris Kavanagh reversed his original decision to ensure a vital three points.
