Below you will find important service information ahead of our Premier League away fixture against Newcastle United, Wednesday 29th January 8.00pm kick-off.

We ask you to arrive early to ensure that there are no delays in entering the stadium.  

Supporters attending this match are advised not to take any bags unless essential. Bags will be searched, in accordance with visiting supporter stand security procedures, which may cause a delay in entering the stadium. 

Travelling to the Stadium

The postcode for St James’ Park is NE1 4ST. There are no unreserved public car parks on event days at St. James’ Park and traffic restrictions may be in place.

The nearest train station is Situated on the East Coast Mainline, Newcastle Central Station is a principle stop for services between London and Edinburgh/Glasgow. In addition to regional services, it also offers direct cross-country routes to and from Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool Birmingham and Bristol. The Station is a ten-minute walk to the stadium.

Supporters are advised to always allow extra time to travel on a match day and plan ahead.

Ticket Collections

Supporters collecting tickets can do so from the Ticket Office which is located in the crowd corridor of the Milburn Stand

Supporters are advised to collect their tickets at least 60-minutes before kick-off to pass through security checks and enter the stadium in time.

Entering the ground

To enter the stadium, you’ll need to scan your ticket in the barcode scanner at the turnstiles indicated on your ticket. If you have any issues with this, please speak to your nearest steward. Visiting clubs are seated in the upper tier (level 7) of the North Stand - better known as the Leazes End.

The match day programmes are available to purchase from designated programme vendors around the ground priced at £3.

Supporters travelling via public transport are asked to be mindful of other passengers travelling and respect the staff on board.
