HONG KONG STADIUM

Hong Kong Stadium is the main sports venue of Hong Kong. Redeveloped from the old Government Stadium, it reopened as Hong Kong Stadium in March 1994. It has a maximum seating capacity of 40,000, including 18,260 at the main level, 3,173 at executive level, 18,510 upper level seats and 57 seats for wheelchair users.

The stadium is located in So Kon Po, Hong Kong Island, in valley Causeway Bay. Most international football matches held in Hong Kong are held at this stadium. It is also the location for the Hong Kong Sevens rugby sevens tournament. Hong Kong Stadium also hosted the Rugby World Cup Sevens twice, in 1997 and 2005.

OPENING TIMES 

The stadium gates open at 6pm for general admission, hospitality and suites. There will be security checks prior to entering the stadium. Please ensure you keep your ticket safe at all times as we are unable to request duplicate tickets.

FOOD AND DRINK

Food and drink is not allowed to the brought in to the stadium. Alcohol and illegal drugs are strictly prohibited from being carried into the stadium and the surrounding areas. Food and non-alcoholic drinks will be sold at designated concession stands within the stadium. Alcohol is not sold or available inside the stadium.

BAG POLICY

For the fastest way to enter the stadium, we strongly encourage guests to not bring any type of bags, but if you must, outlined below are the specific types of bags that will be allowed inside the venue:

 Only bags that are A4 in size or smaller will be allowed

 Prohibited items include but are not limited to: purses larger than a clutch bag, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, seat cushions, luggage of any kind, computer bags and camera bags or any bag larger than the permissible size.

 All bags will be subject to security checks, so please keep items within to a minimum

CODE OF CONDUCT

Every fan who visit the Hong Kong Stadium deserves the best possible experience. You can contribute to a great experience by conducting yourself appropriately at all times. For the enjoyment and safety of all, the following behaviours are prohibited:

 Interfering with others’ enjoyment of the game

 Foul or abusive language or obscene gestures

 Intoxication or other signs of impairment related to alcohol consumption

 Fighting, taunting, or threatening remarks or gestures

 Sitting in a location other than your ticketed seat

 Displays of affection inappropriate in a public setting

 Obscene or indecent messages or signs or clothing

 Clothing that is inappropriate or offensive

 Smoking is not permitted inside the stadium, please adhere to the venue policy

 Any disruption to the progress of the event by the Guest’s actions

 Failing to follow the instructions of Stadium Personnel or Law Enforcement

 Standing for extended periods of time. Please refrain from behaviour detracting from the enjoyment of fellow fans.  Spontaneous reactions to exciting plays are expected and encouraged, but your continued standing while other guests are sitting is not permitted.

On game days, supporters and guests are encouraged to report any violation of this Code of Conduct. You can report such incidents by informing an Usher, Police Officer, or any member of the stadium staff. Any supporter or guest who violates this Code of Conduct will be subject to ejection, and possible arrest.

FLAGS AND BANNERS

These are permitted provided the flag is not commercial or offensive. Banners (max. size of 2m x 1m) must not include profane language, advertisements, or political slogans and must not be placed over any official stadium signage. Items must not be attached to a pole or the like which may cause harm to the supporters seated around you. Items must not be used as projectiles. Banners or signs cannot obstruct the view of other guests. Stadium security reserves the right to remove these items from your possession if deemed inappropriate for any and all reasons.

FAN EVENTS

On matchday, come and join us for pre-match fun at the Trafalgar Brewing Company from 4pm until 7pm. Chance to get together with fellow City fans to start creating an amazing atmosphere, to take into the stadium together! There will be a unique photo opportunity with the Premier League trophy, FA Cup, Carabao Cup and Community Shield. You’ll also be able to take part in a Q&A with a City Legend, have your picture taken with Manchester City mascots; Moonchester and Moonbeam, as well as lots of City giveaways.  See you there!
