Having joined Gareth Taylor’s side from Olympique Lyonnais in September 2020, Greenwood has gone on to make 124 appearances in all competitions, with Lauren Hemp the only active member of the squad to better that tally.
An England regular, she’s forged a reputation as one of the most reliable defenders in the WSL during her time at the Joie Stadium.
Regularly captaining the side, the defender has been named in the PFA WSL Team of the Year in each of the last three seasons as well as the 2023 FIFA FIFPRO Women’s World XI in 2023.
From making her debut against Brighton to leading City out in front of a Club record crowd for a women’s match, Greenwood has been at the centre of our success over the past four seasons.
