Andrée Jeglertz has confirmed that Alex Greenwood and Anna Moorhouse’s injuries will likely rule them out until after the upcoming international break.
Our Head Coach confirmed that the pair had both sustained injuries in training this week ahead of our 5-0 WSL win over West Ham United.
The boss added that Greenwood’s is an ankle issue, while Moorhouse’s relates to her foot.
Both will likely be unavailable until City return from the international break against Crystal Palace on Sunday 13 December, which Jeglertz admits is a frustrating setback.
“Both of them is not great,” he said.
“[Alex’s is an] ankle injury, and they will be out for a while.
“She got a knock a couple of days ago. Unfortunately, she’ll be out until the international break.”
