The exciting forward has become our third summer signing, joining Gareth Taylor’s side from Tokyo Verdy Beleza.
Already a Japan international, the 20-year-old is her nation’s youngest-ever World Cup goalscorer and has been named the WE League’s Most Valuable Player twice.
What’s more, she was named alongside Yui Hasegawa and Risa Shimizu in Japan’s 2024 Olympic Games squad where she netted in their 2-1 defeat to Spain in the group stage.
Pictured at the City Football Academy ahead of signing her contract with the Club, Fujino posed with photographs before conducting her first interview since her switch to the Joie Stadium.
