The 18-year-old joins from Bohemians, where she established herself as a key player after making her debut in the 2024 League of Ireland Premier Division campaign.
Indeed, despite her tender years Brennan made over 50 senior appearances for Bohs after joining from Shelbourne, scoring her first goal at just 16.
Aoibhe’s performances have already earned recognition on the international stage, with Carla Ward calling up the midfielder to represent the Republic of Ireland’s senior team in April 2026.
Unfortunately, injury prevented Brennan from earning her first cap in a pair of World Cup qualifiers against Poland, but she’s already captained her nation at Under-19 level.
And now, the highly rated youngster will join Izzy Christiansen’s Next Gen squad ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
Our Next Gen come into the PGA U21 campaign on a high, having finished fifth in our debut season at the level.
And now Brennan will add further quality to an exciting crop of young talent under the watchful eye of our Head of Academy Hannah Dingley as well as Christiansen and her coaching team.
Aoibhe’s first professional deal follows those signed by other promising talents this summer such as Amelia Oldroyd and Sacha Lewis, as City look to nurture the next generation of talent into the first team.
