The England international has signed a three-year contract which will keep her with Andrée Jeglertz’s side until the summer of 2029.
Her arrival the Joie Stadium follows an illustrious nine-and-a-half years at Arsenal where she won the 2018/19 Barclays Women’s Super League title and 2025 UEFA Women’s Champions League.
Mead has become the Blues’ first summer recruit following the Club’s fantastic league and FA Cup double last season and she adds vital experience and quality to a City side eyeing further glory in the years to come.
Before the WSL’s record assist-maker links up with her new team-mates later this summer for pre-season, her first day at the City Football Academy was filled with media duties and taking in her new surroundings for the first time.
