Khadija 'Bunny' Shaw has been nominated for November's Barclays Women's Super League Player of the Month award.

The Jamaican’s dream start to the campaign continued, as City enjoyed a 100% record across the month.

Finding the net in each of our league clashes, Shaw was once again a key figure in that success.

She began the month by completing the scoring in a 3-0 victory away to Reading.

And the forward was equally influential in a hard-fought triumph over Everton, with her instinctive second half finish clinching another three points.

Earlier in the game, Shaw had also turned provider for Julie Blakstad to open the scoring, seeing her WSL tally for November finish with two goals in as many matches, as well as a further assist.

Only Aston Villa’s Rachel Daly has found the net as many times as the Jamaican so far this season, with our forward’s tally now standing at eight goals in seven matches.

Shaw faces stiff competition from Daly, Brighton’s Danielle Carter, Liverpool’s Melissa Lawley, Arsenal’s Frida Maanum, Chelsea’s Guro Reiten and Manchester United’s Katie Zelem for the award.
