Congratulations to Bunny Shaw, who has been named PFA WSL Fans' Player of the Month for September.

The Jamaican beat off stiff competition from City team-mate Lauren Hemp, Spurs duo Olivia Holdt and Victoria Pelova, Chelsea’s Lauren James and London City Lionesses’ Danielle van de Donk to finish top of the vote.

Coming into the new season on the back of three successive Golden Boots, Shaw picked up where she left off with a fantastic opening month in 2026/27.

She ended September with four WSL goals in as many matches, beginning with a headed brace in our opening win over Birmingham City.

Another followed against Aston Villa when the Jamaican cleverly lofted the ball over Akane Okuma en route to a 4-1 win at Villa Park.

Shaw also set up Mary Fowler in that victory, before adding another strike to her tally against Liverpool with a close-range finish in our third WSL match of the campaign.

The Jamaican once again leads the scoring charts this season, adding to her tally in our 4-2 win over Arsenal to start October, but she’s also provided a crucial outlet and link for our other attacking stars.

Everyone at City would like to congratulate Bunny on being named PFA WSL Fans’ Player of the Month for September.
